Woven fabric wristbands
Multi-coloured woven fabric event wristbands are great for security access at festivals and other outdoor events. Available in up to 8 woven colours with a variety of closures. Another type of woven fabric wristband is the fold over plastic clip which allows a one time use with the closure attached to the wristband. A slightly shorter length means no tails dangling and the extra length is folded over before sealing the closure. Printed fabric wristbands
These are examples of printed wristbands which can be printed in full colour using a dye sublimation print process. Dye sublimation is a print process where sublimation dyes are printed onto a transfer paper/ medium with a specially prepared inkjet printer. Those dyes are then transferred from the medium to fabric or object using a heat press that applies the correct temperature and pressure.
Sublimation printing only works on polyester fabrics, or on fabrics applied with a polyester coating. When heat and pressure are applied, the dye on the transfer medium sublimates, or becomes a gas, it is then absorbed into the polyester itself with the print actually becomes a part of the garment/coating. It won’t fade easily, wear, or have any texture or weight. The end result of the sublimation process is a virtually permanent offering a high resolution full colour print because the dyes bare infused into the fabric rather than being applied on top of the fabric.
Fabric wristbands for events
Personalised fabric wristbands for events are ideal for long-term wear as they are durable and washable. These textile bands or bracelets can be printed or woven. They are supplied with aluminium or plastic one way sliding (not available in UK) security closures or optional removable sliding closures. They are mainly used as wristbands for events or festivals lasting multiple days where security access control is required.
