Combining the right lanyard, clip and card holder

Most customers do not just need a lanyard. They need a complete setup that works day to day, whether that is staff ID, visitor management, or event accreditation. We supply personalised lanyards alongside the clips, holders and passes that make the system work properly.

  • Choosing the right lanyard printing

    Your lanyard strap can be personalised with a logo, website, department name or event branding. If your artwork is bold and simple, a screen-printed lanyard is often ideal. If you have gradients, patterns or detailed branding, dye sublimation is almost always the better choice.

  • Adding on the right attachment

    Lanyard attachments and clips depend on what the lanyard needs to hold. A standard metal lanyard clip suits most ID cards and passes. A trigger clip is useful for heavier items, and a safety breakaway is often preferred where lanyards are worn daily.

  • Adding passes or ID cards

    If you need a full identification package, we can also supply printed passes and ID cards to match your lanyards, with consistent branding across the full set. If you tell us how the lanyards will be used, we will recommend a setup that fits the environment and the level of wear.

  • Selecting a card holder

    If the lanyards are used with ID cards or passes, a holder keeps them clean, readable and protected. We can supply holders in landscape or portrait formats, with options that suit regular workplace use or short-term events.

Commonly asked questions

We can supply personalised lanyards for small quantities, including single or short-run orders, as well as large-scale bulk production. The most suitable print method and pricing will depend on quantity and artwork, and we will advise accordingly. When considering no minimum order quantities we expect that to mean at least 100 lanyards.

We supply complete lanyard setups, including printed ID cards or passes and card holders in portrait or landscape formats. This helps ensure consistent branding and avoids the need to source components from multiple suppliers.

Screen printed lanyards are best suited to bold type and logos and simple branding using spot colours. Dye-sublimated lanyards allow full-colour, edge-to-edge printing and are usually the better option for detailed artwork, gradients or complex brand guidelines. We will recommend the most appropriate option based on your design and quantity.
